Ecuadorian Location

Located in the western corner of the South American continent, Ecuador has four different regions: the Amazon, the Andes, the Pacific Coast and the Galapagos Islands. Despite its small size, it is considered a biodiversity hotspot due to its high number of native and endemic plant species that develop in this tropical country, of which a large part is nutritional and others are medicinal.

The Crop and Its Location

The "Chacra" is an ancestral method of farming used in the Ecuadorian Amazon and it refers to the intermingling of timber, fruit and medicinal crops, among others necessary for agriculture and self-sufficiency. But this is also syncretized between diversity and the comprehensive management of nature.

Our cocoa comes from the Anzu River Valleys in the Tena Province. The cocoa belongs to the strain called the "Fine aroma and flavor," which is a super tree that has good grain texture and is rich in body, flavor and aromas, as well as natural fat, fiber and antioxidants.
